What recently happened that made me proud of myself?

2012:
One month ago, I ran/walked half marathon. I've hardly run or trained for marathon, so I supposed crossing the finish line was a huge deal, however, it didn't feel like a huge deal to me. I wasn't as tired at the end of it, I didn't feel like I had to push myself to cross the finish line. I was just going at my own pace. My goal was to average 15 minutes per mile and I finished it(13.3 miles) in 3 hrs 13 minutes. That is very close to my goal.

In recent events, Pooja has been working on Obama's political campaign as volunteer. She was offered a paid staffing position. They have about 14-16 spots open for paid staff in entire Northern CA. So, this is a huge deal for her to be offered a paid position. She's decided not to take up on it though because of the school. Today, during her conference call, they had called out her name as top 5 performer (fellow) in N. CA. It makes me proud that she's really poured herself into what she loves and proved herself that if she gives her 100%, she can reach to the top no matter which career path she chooses at the end of her college.

2013:
Similar as last year - I just joined Crossfit group all on my own. It was getting out of my comfort zone, but I went there at 7AM and did it! So far, I've been to 2 sessions. My arms are sore and it hurts under my ribs, but I'm doing it. First of all, getting up early to go for workout (of any kind.. I've never done one in my life!!!) is a huge deal for me, but the only slot that would work for me is 7-8am. I'm also running half marathon this Sunday!

Pooja has internship at Ro Khanna's campaign office. She is in charge of training others. She just told us last night that she got promotion and now, she'll be writing the policies regarding education. If that policy passes, it will become law!

2018:
I've fallen off the track as far as the fitness goes. But I talked to Coach Brian two weeks ago and committed to get back on routine. I'm glad to say that once we decided on the plan, I've stuck to it and been working out on every day that I'm off from work.

Avni is moving in apartment with Akriti. Although I don't like the fact that she felt the need to move out, I'm proud of her being mentally and financially ready for it. I have full confidence that she'll be ok and do great things in life.

Neil is also moving in his own apartment along with three other roommates in San Francisco.
