Whose life did I make a difference in today?

2012:
I haven't talked to Swetal much ever since I got back to work 5 months ago. Every time I looked her up, she was either logged off or was busy. Yesterday, I found out about special Microsoft Office deal($9.95) for ATT employees, so I looked her up again to share that with her. She called me right away. Turns out she was going thru Breast Cancer. :( Her treatment just got over and she had returned to work just last week. But she still have many uncertainty and fears about the future. So, I told her that I will talk to my friend Kerry, who is also cancer survivor, and get back to her. I shared info about green smoothie, sprouting and importance about routine exercise as a permanent lifestyle changes. She was totally unaware of any of this and was glad to know about it when I shared some links with her and with names of few books.

2013:
Something similar. I was sharing FB Healthy Eating group how I feel validated about my food choices after watching the movie: Hunger for Change. Someone asked me about my 'steps' to grow sprouts. I shared all the knowledge, experience and links that I had to help them get started.

2014:
Jennifer was sharing a link of calculator to show how much your grocery budget should be based on your family size and age of family members. Mine came out less than 40%. Actually, calculator said I Should be spending $1300+ for a month for our family of 7 and my average is about $450-500. $600 on a heavy months, when I do mega shopping from Sikander or something But I didn't want to share that I only spend about ⅓ of national average. So, she asked me how I manage that. So, I shared some info about us being vegetarians, always eating home, making pesto, hummus, cookies, sauces among many other things from scratch. This reminded me to upload my recipe cards to FB to share with others who always have questions like this. She was able to make adopt to many recipes and loved the ideas about making refried beans at home, chopping onions in bulk and freeze them, making Bombay sandwich, mass or pulao.... I know the recipes will help many others too!

2018:
I guess no-one? Coach Brian announced yesterday during our crossfit game18.1 workout that I was going to Mt. Everest next month. So, some of the athletes came up to me and asked me about it. One of the mom shared that with her 12 yrs old daughter and the girl's eye just sparkled when she found out that I was going to hike Mt. Everest. Mom and daughter both looked very shocked when I told that I'm almost 50!! I hope that inspired them to keep on going and not let anything stop them. There were few others who also asked me about my hike and decided to go sometime in next year. I sure hope so!!
